Cool...

I'll check it out, but he better be funny.....

I'm sure he's Stewart and Colbert's kind of Rep so maybe they'll set him up a few times. Too bad Paul looks more the straight man.
BrooklynBill
Once again, another retarded, propaganda Q&A session for the Neocon, big government, Jacobin nuts. Obviously, this CNN debate was biased against Dr. Paul and some of the other candidates.

Biased against who, like all the Republicans? I said before he'd be better off running as a Democrat. He doesn't exactly fit in either party, but he's too old to build anything.

It was a Rudy McRomney orgy, to a certain extent. Yes, Wolf Blitzer did ask moronic questions, but Dr. Paul, Tancredo and even Duncan Hunter were skipped over. Also, how could Wolf not ask the only physician on the stage about healthcare? blink.gif

As far as Ron Paul's voting record is concerned, he is by far the most conservative on that stage. I wish he would be more agressive, but he is a humble dude.

If you guys could just get Fred Thompson to play Ron Paul you'd have credibility.

Maybe Paul and Dean need to put something together on healthcare. Paul doesn't have a coalition, and he could desperately use one.

CNN backing a moderate (neocon, whatever) is no new thing. Paul isn't the only one they're biased against.

Ron Paul is ideologically in another universe, when compared to a Howard Dean. His message of limited, constitutional government and liberty doesn't sit well with the Left in Washington. Also, his conservative views on foreign policy are at odds with the Neocons and the Military-Industrial complex.

At this point in time, the ony difference between the Left and the Neocons, is in their justification for the supremacy of the state.

He's at odds with both parties and therefore not electable in a two party system as is. Once again I'll point out the possible benefits of Instant Runoff Voting, though at the national level the parties will fight it tooth and nail.

Gotta start somewhere.

Wolf Jackal tried to sucker punch Mike Huckabee with the religion question, and the good guv came out the winner on that one.

Fred Thompson is bad enough playing Fred Thompson.

Happy Birthday old fart. Bee left a cake, but you must have been out partying.
Tom Servo
Thanx! smile.gif

I saw da Bee buzzin' around with a link to the You Tube vid.
Arturo_Vandelay
Bones feel a little creakier? I make noises I didn't used to, and not just in the bathroom. smile.gif
Tom Servo
None of that.

Havin' a party with the pile of RAM chips Crow gave me!!
Arturo_Vandelay
Don't stuff yourself. smile.gif

I wonder how Dr. Paul will do on Colbert. He did well on The Daily Show. Will Colbert ask serious questions or will it be a spoof-a-thon? Comedy is an essential ingredient on those shows, I hope he can articulate his positions, succinctly.
Arturo_Vandelay
He needs a spontaneous funny line prepared. smile.gif

Study Colbert and figure he'll be dry and in attack mode against the other Republicans. That means there is likely a setup line coming. Paul just needs to be ready with a couple things that will fit into a few situations.
