Probably millions of people don't bother changing their address around when they move around a lot of have a steady address along with several transient ones. I was years in changing away from my folks address because I didn't know how long I'd be where I was or where I'd end up moving next.

Calling not changing your address vote fraud is like calling Biden revealing the VP bunker as treason.

The Palins' Phony "Pro-Abstinence" Message: Be a Baby Mama, Get on the Cover of People (& a Tacky 8-Page Spread)

By Debbie Schlussel

I gotta hand it to the phony Palin family. First, they tell us how they're against teen sex and that their pregnant 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is gonna marry the baby daddy, Levi Johnston. After the McCain-Palin ticket gets trounced, that BS blows up. Then, Bristol Palin tells FOX News that promoting abstinence doesn't work. And three months later, this physical and ideological ho turns on a dime, becoming a paid "abstinence ambassador" for the far-left Candie's Foundation.

"Abstinence Ambassador": Screw as I Say, Not as I Do . . . All the Way to the People Cover

And she has a heck of a way of promoting abstinence and decrying single motherhood. Look at me, I'm on the cover of People because I'm a baby mama (and got paid gazillions to do it). But don't you try this as home. Because if you do, you might get an 8-page gushing spread and oodles of fame. Yeah, that's the message to give teen girls obsessed with fame, who'll do anything to get it. And Ma (Sarah Palin) and Pa Palin are also posing aplenty in this 8-page advertisement for, "Look how cool it is have a kid out of wedlock." Oh, and to all those blind Palinmessiah worshippers who claimed I was lying when I said the Palins were negotiating with People magazine to sell them exclusive photos, your apology is NOT accepted. If Levi Palin Johnston were smart (and he's even less so than the Palins, based on what we've seen), he'd get a lawyer pronto, sue for custody and for child support from those hundreds of thousands of dollars Bristol collected for this very tacky People spread.

Bristol Palin is on the cover for one reason: the "feat" of having teen sex and becoming a baby mama. And that's hardly an achievement to celebrate of glamorize on the cover of a celeb magazine and and an eight-page spread of glamor shots. If it were, why aren't Shaniqua and Lakisha from the ghetto on the cover? They've "achieved" just like Bristol Palin. But they don't have blind conservatives doing a 180 on them and gushing over it.

As I've already noted recently on this site, 40% of American kids are now born to single mothers, and it's getting worse. And America is #1 in the percentage of babies born to single mothers without a stable relationship with a man. Bristol Palin, whose baby is among that 40%, is NOT part of the solution. She is part of the problem. And parading and glorifying it on the cover of a magazine only makes it worse.

Remember the good old days when conservatives (like Dan Quayle) didn't promote single motherhood?

Wake up. The Palins are phonies. At least the single mothers in Hollywood are honest about what they believe in and promote.

Todd Palin Offered Bristol A Car To Dump Levi

In an yet-to-be released interview with GQ, Levi Johnston, the ex-boyfriend of teen mom Bristol Palin (and father to her son, Tripp) reveals even more details about the dynamics of his relationship with Bristol and her family.

Johnston told GQ that Todd Palin, on multiple occasions, offered to buy his daughter a car if she would break up him.

While I know it's not slander if you report verifiable facts, I do wonder if this kid knows that, or the difference between slander and truth. Of course there are those rulings that say that in politics even falsehood is legal - and given he is talking about a family involved in politics - that just might shield him, IF he is just looking to score political coup points. He does play the victim to the max.

I guess time will tell. Then again...

Palin Lifts From Gingrich in Anchorage Speech

QUOTE
Sarah Palin's speech delivered in Anchorage on Wednesday -- the one in which she declared "screw political correctness" and wondered why "we have to pussyfoot around our troublesome foes" -- repeatedly lifted from an article written four years ago by Newt Gingrich and Craig Shirley without attribution.

While Palin twice mentioned Gingrich in the speech (she never acknowledged Shirley), she frequently mixed her own remarks about Reagan with passages that appear to be pulled directly from the Gingrich-Shirley article.

Sarah Palin plagiarized recent Reagan speech from a four year old article written by Newt Gingrich.

Much like the string of "reporter" quotes that use the exact same phrases every week the political points really don't change over time, left or right. Barely two words in a row of any substance are the same, that's why the lefties at Huffpo don't even try to use the word plagiarism in the actual article, they rely on the drones in the blog world to do that and wait until the press treats the accusation as fact.

There is minor variation in the wording, though the concepts and layout of the speech are identical. It appears she just took a copy of the speech and went line by line making minor modifications to the original speech.

QUOTE
I don't think these paraphrases are close enough to be considered plagiarism. She is not required to have all original ideas, and she does attribute the material to its original source - Reagan appropriately. In written work, she should also cite Gingrich, but in a speech?

I have no time for Palin, but her speechwriter is being unfairly beaten up here.

Liberal Sexist Pigs
by Ashley Herzog

Brace yourselves, readers, because it’s not over yet. This year has been Misogyny Mania for liberals who claim to be “pro-woman.”

First there was the character assassination of Miss California Carrie Prejean, in which liberals thought a deft response to her anti-gay marriage comments was to call her a slut. By saying that marriage should be between a man and a woman, Prejean did nothing more than restate the official position of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Bill Clinton—and every other male politician liberals adore. There’s no doubt that Prejean’s femininity determined how the media treated her. As Miss USA owner Donald Trump said, “If her beauty wasn’t so great, nobody really would have cared.”

That’s how liberal woman-haters think. Male politicians are allowed to have opinions; young beauty pageant contestants aren’t. Even Feministing.com editor Jessica Valenti acknowledged that they were “fighting homophobia with misogyny.”

Then, last week, the pigs at Playboy magazine published a list of ten conservative women they’d like to “hate f-ck,” because “we may despise everything these women represent, but goddammit they’re hot.”

A “hate f-ck” sounds like rape to me, which I assume was Playboy’s point. The list was filled with leering observations about the women’s “tight bodies” and “saucy looks,” and concluded with each woman’s “hate f-ck rating.”

Gross.

This is coming from a magazine that claims to respect women. In 2005, Hugh Hefner’s daughter Christie told feminist author Ariel Levy that Playboy works to promote “sexual liberation” for its models, and Hugh himself has declared that women were the main beneficiaries of the sexual revolution. The Playboy Foundation is a major supporter of reproductive rights and other progressive causes.

So Playboy is obviously a cheerleader for gender equality—as long as you’re a naked sex object who needs an abortion. Just don’t express any opinions. Then liberals will openly discuss their desire to put you back in your place with a violent sexual encounter.

It’s no surprise that Michelle Malkin was number one on Playboy’s gross list. Malkin enrages racist liberal woman-haters because she doesn’t conform to their porno fantasies of a passive, compliant Asian woman. As she discussed at length in her 2005 book Unhinged, she is often subjected to racialized sexual denigration from liberals who call her a “mail-order bride” and a “whore” for the Republican Party. Every time Malkin opens her mouth, you can practically see their jaws drop: Who does this little Asian woman think she is? (Playboy referred to her as a “highly f-ckable Filipina.”)

It doesn’t matter whether they’re forbidding Carrie Prejean to say things Joe Biden is allowed to say or fantasizing about raping overly opinionated conservatives. Sexist liberals have always been open about their desire to prevent women from talking. Two years ago, some slobbering loser responded to one of my Townhall columns by writing, “I don't know Ashley Herzog. Never heard of her before today. I would, however, go so far to say that I would date her if she promised not to say anything.”

Nice work. Especially from people who are constantly screaming about the right’s “war on women.”

Levi Johnston Goes Hollywood

QUOTE
Levi Johnston, noted Palin daughter-nailer, has hired Tank Jones, "a size-58 suit-wearing black man," to manage his career and be his bodyguard. He's also developed an alter ego to help him destroy his Wasilla-ness and fully embrace douchedom—"Ricky Hollywood."

You just knew this was coming, right? Sooner or later you just knew that the sweet and hopelessly ignorant kid from the Alaskan tundra who just wanted to float aimlessly through life hunting, fishing, playing hockey and banging chicks, would have his life destroyed by the sudden fame that came with having knocked up the daughter of the most ridiculous American public figure in the history of ridiculous American public figures. So very sad.

Renata Espinosa of The Daily Beast went shopping recently with Levi and his newly hired manager/bodyguard, an Anchorage-based lawyer, in Los Angeles, where they were "fielding pitches" for acting and reality show gigs or something.

To help Levi morph into the epic tool he needs to become if he has any hope of making it in Hollywood, Tank came up with the "Ricky Hollywood" idea.

No!!!! Just let Levi be Levi dammit and wear his jeans and t-shirts and baseball caps! He's been through enough—Leave him alone!

When asked by Espinosa about the Palin/Letterman controversy, Levi said that he didn't "think that David was trying to advocate any sexual misconduct of any nature."

You see—Levi actually gets it and is probably the only normal player in the whole Palin clown show. Leave him alone!

Olive Garden backtracks on ads

QUOTE
The Olive Garden restaurant chain is denying that it canceled all of its scheduled ads on CBS late night comic David Letterman’s “Late Show” in response to a crude joke Letterman told about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s daughter and instead contends that its ad schedule concluded.

POLITICO reported Thursday that the company would pull its remaining television spots and was emailing Letterman critics with a note informing them that “there will be no more Olive Garden ads scheduled for ‘The Late Show’ with David Letterman in this year's broadcast schedule,” citing the talk show host’s “inappropriate comments.”

Olive Garden’s manager of media relations, who asked not to be quoted on the record, confirmed to POLITICO Thursday that the emails were sent by the restaurant chain, and also confirmed that the company would be pulling its remaining television spots on the program for the rest of the year when asked that question.

But in a statement released later in the day, Olive Garden Director of Media Relations Rich Jeffers disputed POLITICO’s report as “erroneous.”

“No authorized spokesperson for the company confirmed the information in his report,” Jeffers said. “The Olive Garden media schedule is planned months in advance. The schedule for the Late Show with David Letterman was completed earlier this month. We take all guest concerns seriously. And, as always, we will factor those concerns in as we plan our advertising schedule in the future.”

When asked about the cancellation confirmation POLITICO obtained from the company’s media relations office, Jeffers responded in an email that the individual listed as the press contact on the company’s website was unauthorized to speak for the company.
