That said, to introduce myself, I consider myself an agnostic Taoist (explanation provided on request), and a libertarian Democrat. Life is full of contradictions.

Also, I'm a gay man, happily married to my husband of 14 years (legally since our trip to Vancouver, BC, last year), and full of thoughts about that, too.

Look forward to the dialogue.
