Underhi got ahold of me to delete a couple of his old minor topics. The Cat Stevens and Snowbirds topics. I will close these old topics for a couple days, then delete them so if there is anything in them you want, be sure to save it.

To keep from allowing the board to get cluttered I will probably continue to do pretty much the same thing with unused topics that are no longer topical.

Good idea, Art. Save as much BW as you can. Also, maybe more emphasis can be placed on the Quick Reply option......

There is also a lo-fi option link at bottom, but I think at some point it's a waste of time to sweat the small stuff.

That's what I use. The lo-fi option. Maybe that'll help lil bart's problem with the Kitchen?

Don't know anymore. A truly wierd problem. If anyone else has the same problem it might prove to be the software, but at this point it looks more like barts puter or site settings.

Hey arti,

Surely there is a way to see when a post was last made to a topic or even when it was last looked at.

If so, then why not announce to the crew that topics that havent been looked at or posted to in (XXX) amount of time will be locked and eventually deleted?

They say in them when the last post was. My loose plan is to let them run a while, then close them when they no longer get responses. Maybe even make a folder with soon to close topics. Once they're closed people can't post, but they can still read them. After the're closed a while I'll delete them. That gives people plenty of warning. At this point we have plenty of space so there's no hurry to delete them.
Art.
Closed topics have a little X by them. Can be read but not posted in.

Oh really?

Tell me more. I'm a complete rookie and I'm fascisnated.
