Between two world wars France lost the best of two generations of men. Maybe they're tired of dying for essentially nothing and are being more selective about using their military.

It was a sarcastic comment. Still, France has shown their willingness to surrender.

I understood the sarcasm, but I don't think France has done any worse than other countries in the same situations. The fact they won't get on board with American adventurism shouldn't be held against them regarding willingness to fight in their own interest.

Who rescued American citizens when Monrovia sank into civil war what, 2 or 3 years ago?

That's right. France.

Peaceniks. rolleyes.gif But if you pick on France the usual suspects will rise to their defense. Same with Venezuela. Lefties are out looking for a Citgo to gas up at as we speak.

Ask Mizilus about it. Beasty wanted to firebomb them, so it's a polarizing issue. SherryB loves Chavez because he gives away free oil to "poor" Americans. But look at his own country. They can't afford to give away much.

Yeah I invite death threats all the time. As to retaliation that is what I do. Y'all just cant stand it when your own tactics are used against you.
Arturo_Vandelay
I don't believe he ever was specific about your family, but about Citgo and the people who were going to support them just becaue Chavez hates Bush. (yet will support Iran)

If you support Chavez and Iran what do you expect?
Mizilus
cant say I have ever in my life bought gas from citgo. Maybe.

And repuslickans are the ones that support Iranian trristststst.

It was that or have Paris defiled with combat. They took the butt boy option, and Hitler was going to burn Paris on the way out anyway.
