The way I read it is this:

Around the 7th post, SRX decided to attack Bee out of the blue--then the man who would be king decided it'd be funny to heap more abuse on Bee (again, out of the blue)--

And all's well & jolly in servoville--that is, until Bee decides to defend herself--apparently that sort of fair play ain't allowed in the new kingdom (not much new there)--and as soon as Bee defended herself, tmwwbk hits the delete button.

Where I'm from, that's known as being a Chicken$hit.

So I guess that makes servo King Chicken$hit.

Nothing ever starts where you think it does. I'd suggest those that bring their feuds from the other board not waste too much typing time here, as Servo is likely to delete their posts.

We can all feud elsewhere, which I assume we will.

Truth be told, I'm not much of a scrapper--and I realize that it didn't start here--but Servo's deletion of Bee's post speaks volumes about his character.

The point I was making was one regarding fairness--or rather, lack of fairness--to the point of being chicken$hit.

I realize these boys hate being trounced by a girl--but if they can't take the hits, then perhaps they shouldn't go fishing for them.

If refusal to let personal stabs at myself or any of the rustics says anything about my character, it says that I stand by my word.

I'll be interested to see what "rustics" have to say about the current state of the economy and world affairs outside of Bush versus anti-Bush. It's all become more personal that political or based on policy.

Most of the types who'd be camped here already threw in the towel on Dubya before the '04 election.

Likewise, his approval numbers aren't in the low 30s because Americans suddenly wished America to be like Norway.

I see--personal stabs, or "personal asides", are only allowed when it's either the king or his court jester doing the stabbing--(I'm refering to SRX's post #7 & subsequent posts--that is subsequent posts up until Bee defended herself...at which point it was no longer allowed).

I think I'm pretty clear on the rules now and I'll keep that in mind in my decision to bring anything of "substance" into your dialogue.

Perhaps your definition of "personal aside" differs from mine--either you do or you don't aside someone in a personal manner--it's that simple.

And besides, I didn't realize she was a participant in that thread prior to SRX's remark about her personally. I was under the impression that his remark was ( and your subsequent remarks were) purely arbitrary & unprovoked, as there are no posts from Bee whatsoever prior to the personal attacks--meaning those beginning with SRX in post #7.

You must have deleted Bee's prior participatory posts.

As I asked before, point to anything that was factually incorrect about her general rhetorical tone.

You seem to be having a hard time grasping just what's happening here--the rhetoric of Bee's tone has absolutely zero bearing on anything--

I'll put it is as simply as I can & perhaps then you'll understand:

You make a rule stating "no personal asides"--then, beginning in post #7, you & your jester break that rule by making personal asides--and about someone who was not even participating in your discussion. It's only later, when that person defends herself that you cry "foul!"

No matter how many times you attempt to reverse the situation, it ain't gonna change reality--you're full of it...until you can see your own hypocrisy.

It has everything to do with it, as there were no personal jabs from myself or SRX directed at anyone from the post in question forward.

In any case, it's my sub-forum to run as I see fit. You don't like it, you can lump it.

And it is on that note I now decree the topic to be a closed matter.
